USAID's Lebanon Water Sanitation and Conservation Project will soon launch calls for applications covering a wide range of water and wastewater-related activities, such as school outreach programs, internship programs for university students, empowerment of youth and women in water management, capacity development of civil society organizations for water protection and conservation, improvement of efficiency of irrigation, reduction of wastewater pollution through communal sanitation systems and/or private/industrial sector discharges, and others.
As part of this, an orientation webinar on the grant program is being hosted by USAID on Monday, February 28, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. online. This webinar should allow you to learn about the funding opportunities offered by this program to support sanitation and water conservation actions in Lebanon in various sectors. In particular, it will present the general framework of the grant program, the application process and the main eligibility criteria. Local authorities are invited to participate in this webinar.
