United Cities Lebanon/Technical Office of Lebanese Municipalities (United Cities Lebanon/TOLM) manages the network of Lebanese local authorities, members of the World Organization of United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG), which aims at promoting the principles of local democracy, partnership and solidarity between cities, in particular by supporting decentralized cooperation programs, and mobilizing funds and technical support for the international actions related to the projects and their members.
United Cities Lebanon/Technical Office of Lebanese Municipalities is also leading the Lebanese Mayor’s Committee, which is elected by the local authorities that are members of the UCLG and presided by the City of Beirut.
